You will also be required to Identify and ensure the use of established best practices and patterns, defining standards and guidelines for delivery teams.

Assessing and recommending emerging practices and technology
This position will join a dynamic and supportive environment with lots of exciting projects to get stuck into. Currently the team is working remotely, with once a month travel/
Your responsibilities will include
Maintenance, administration and troubleshooting of the mission-critical Oracle Exadata and AWS Database platforms, performance tuning, and routing tasks
Support and technical leadership for major infrastructure projects, including upgrades and patching of the Exadata database environments and migration of on premise database into AWS Oracle
Working with on-perm and cloud solutions - primarily AWS based
Full lifecycle development and end-to-end testing
What you'll bring to the role
Strong skills in Oracle data replication technologies including Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Data Guard
Experience in the financial services sector
AWS native database technologies
Experience of Exadata
Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager
