Durbin has grown rapidly over the last five decades and our multi-lingual workforce includes pharmacists, medical engineers, and nurses, as well as commercial, warehouse and logistics staff.

Durbin are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their pharmaceutical operations team.

Objective:

To support all warehouse activities, to ensure the efficient and safe distribution of all products to and from Durbin UK facilities.

Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day warehouse functions, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

Handling the full range of pharmaceutical product
Efficiently and effectively receiving and storing goods
Accurately pack and ship our customer orders to ensure we meet customers' high expectations
Consistently achieve targets set for your department
Adhering to safety, quality, and production standards
Assisting the supervisors and managers with clerical duties e.g., Filing, Inputting data, Matching invoices, Photocopies etc
Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy
Additional hours (to contractual hours) may be required to meet tight deadlines
Assisting internal colleagues with queries and concerns.
To carry out the relevant GDP SOPs as instructed by the RP of the Company.

Qualifications and experience:

Previous experience working in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred
Previous experience of working with ERP and WMS systems.
Good working knowledge of 'Good Distribution Practice' (GDP).
Good working knowledge of 'Good Warehousing Practice' (GWP)

Skills:

Warehouse and Supply chain experience.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Selfmotivated and result orientated
Working in a team and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
Proactive approach.
Ability to work on rotational shifts between the hours of 8:0022:00 Monday to Friday, and availability to work weekends when required.
