We have an exciting opportunity for
Consultants to work with us at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust in
Breast Radiology.

Shift patterns: short term, long term, Ad hoc (Days, Nights or Weekends)

Hours per week: 40 hours

Rates: £125 - £175

Your key responsibilities will be to:

Maintenance of high-quality patient centred care
Shared responsibility for the daytoday management of the service and participation in strategic planning
Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate
Clinical governance activity
Active participation in continuing medical education

- play a role in teaching and developing within the Unit

Breast Ultrasound, Breast Intervention, Plain film reporting, Mammography, Breast MRI, CT/US (general)
Supervising undergraduates, doctors in training and other colleagues

Requirements:

Doctors Direct recruit to the highest of NHS standards and all applicants for this role should meet pre-screening requirements before applying

Full GMC license to practice
With entry on Specialist Register
Minimum of 6 months experience in and NHS Trust within the last 2 years
Fellowship of Royal College of Radiologists (Or equivalent)
Experience of Breast Ultrasound, Breast Intervention, Plain film reporting, Mammography, Breast MRI, CT/US (general)
Fully competent in General and Breast Radiology
Experience of supervising undergraduates, doctors in training and other colleagues
Ability to offer and be accountable for full and independent expert diagnostic opinion
Can evidence leading on patient safety issues and achieving a change in practice
