Job Purpose To support the ongoing success of the firm we are looking to expand our UK bid team.

This role will support the firm's exciting growth strategy by focusing on larger scale bid opportunities across the full mix of Mazars service lines.

In addition, the rolewill involve providing high level best practice guidance for smaller scale bids that are self-managed elsewhere in the firm.


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for managing the bid process for large and PIE prospect client opportunities as well as support in executing client acquisition and key account management activities
  • Manage bid opportunities in accordance with best practice and the pursuit framework developed within Mazars, as well as add to the development of this framework.
  • Lead kickoff meetings
  • Support the bid project team throughout the prebid, scoping process.
  • Develop bid project plans
  • Work with feeearners to develop client specific bid strategies
  • Oversee development of all collateral during the bid process
  • Lead presentation rehearsals and coach to delivery team to optimise performance
  • Undertake client research
  • Be responsible for quality controls, for the professional delivery of bid documentation within client deadlines.
  • Manage engagement with the design team for all content development.
  • Remain up to date with current and future market trends in line with Mazars' key industries.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with other BST departments
  • Provide mentorship to junior members of the team
  • Support the execution of key target pursuit and key client account programmes
  • Be willing to provide operational support which is shared between the team

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:


  • Bid management and business development experience
  • Good understanding of bid processes and characteristics associated with bidding within the commercial, public and nonprofit social sectors
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication skills
  • Good copywriting knowhow
  • Strong project management and teamworking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with critical and often tight deadlines.
  • Ideally, has broad knowledge of the key principles of EU Procurement Regulations 2015/2020 that underpin engagement with procurement teams employed by larger clients
  • Ability to work proactively under pressure, with accuracy and focus.
  • Willingness to travel to other offices, if required, and have flexibility in work hours

  • Able to quickly get up to speed with the service lines they are supporting
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and strong general IT skills
