Their portfolio includes Tommy Hilfiger, Florence By Mills, Chopard Parfums, Elie Saab Parfums, Philipp Plein Parfums,Iceberg Parfums, and more. The client is based in West End London.

Description

Management Accountant (German Speaking) - duties:

Month end / Year end
Oversight of the general ledger / German and UK GAAP.
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals
Intercompany reconciliations
Monthend reporting package and budget processes
Assist with Audit requests
Taxes
Experience of German VAT and EU VAT
Tax compliance
Coordination with our tax experts in our countries of operation
Inventory and production, in collaboration with the cost controller
Inventory reconciliation
COGS analysis
Gross Margin analysis by customer

- weekly cash flow reports

Review and Submission of payments run
Review of A/P invoices booked in the system
Fixed asset management
Other ad hoc duties

Profile

Management Accountant (German Speaking) - will possess:

Part qualified with experience, strong management, and financial accounting knowledge
Attention to details.
Experience and flexibility to work with time zone difference (UK/USA/Europe)
Highly proficient at accounts preparation and financial analysis to get things right first time with attention to detail
German Speaking and Experienced in dealing with tax and VAT queries.
