Technology and Cyber Regulatory Engagements Lead- London, GB
The role includes leadership of a global regulatory engagements team whilst driving continuous improvements and cross-leverage of common details to support request for information more effectively and consistently.
The role will report to the Head of Governance, Risk and Controls, within Information and Cyber Security and will be working closely with the Information and Cyber Security leadership team to ensure any gaps are communicated and addressed.
This Regulatory Engagements Lead role is aligned to our Hybrid workstyle, predominantly based from home with occasional travel to WTW offices.
The Role
- Driving all global in scope (technology and cyber) regulatory requests for information on time and to adequate standard.
- Driving proactive and systemic identification of regulatory changes whilst working with key stakeholders including compliance, privacy, legal globally as well as in locations.
- Support governance reporting requirements as they pertain to regulatory aspect of technology and cyber risk management.
- Support technology and cyber investment decision making resulting from regulatory change enabling early sight and escalation where risks exists for the delivery of change accordance with risk appetite.
- Implement measures to increase maturity of the regulatory engagement capability including effective regulatory change scanning process and impact analysis.
- Agile management of regulatory engagement portfolio. Define and manage standard process for running effective regulatory engagements.
- Provide advice on compliance with the Senior Managers & certification regime (where applicable) as it pertains to technology and cyber risk.
The Requirements
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing a team of regulatory engagement SME's within a global institution.
- Effective stakeholder management, influencing and presenting skills with senior.
- Ability to convey complex concepts, risks and issues in clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative working style, building relationship of trust across organization.
- Strong personal integrity and ethics, able to challenge and influence decision making that balances regulatory and commercial imperatives.
- Ability to be openminded and agile in your approach, able to cope with ambiguity.
Qualifications:
- Preferably holding one of the following qualifications: ISO 27001 LA/LI, CISSP, CISM, CRISC (although not essential).
- Extensive experience in technology and cyber security regulatory engagement, risk management or audit roles.
- Experience of working within a Global Financial Services organisation.
