Qualified Nursery Practitioner, holding a minimum
Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent?


We are looking for a warm and supportive Early Years Educator to take the lead on all things EYFS within our unique North Street Nursery setting, responsible for driving high standards observations, assessment and planning.


£28,000 Salary - Full-time 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:30am & 6:30pm Monday - Friday


Total Salary Package more than £30,000 with available Bonus and Benefits

8 Weeks Holiday including Christmas Off and Company Sick Pay

This is is a
Full Time, Permanent opportunity to be part of the Senior Team.

The role will comprise of weekly office time, with on the floor support around planning, observation and assessments for our team of practitioners, in all three of our childcare rooms.

This person will have great knowledge of the EYFS and what it takes to inspire and develop a team.


North Street Nursery has a capacity for 90 children across 3 dedicated rooms with a roof terrace garden and several local external spaces.

It is essential that you have a clear knowledge and a strong understanding of the Leadership qualities needed to ensure continuous staff oversight, training and motivation, whilst using your previous leadership experience and great knowledge of current childcare legislation and the EYFS to drive and support the development of our team.


Enhanced DBS check will be carried out and previous references must be provided.

Requirements:

This individual will have passion and enthusiasm for safeguarding children and delivering high standards of care.

Experience of leadership or management roles

  • A great understanding of the EYFS.
  • Day to day monitoring and support of the staff team in delivery all aspects of the EYFS, maintain high standards of safeguarding and child development.
  • Mentoring and developing a team of childcare professionals.
  • Be an integral member of staff, working within ratio where needed to support staff development and training.
  • Attending regular training and providing professional advice and support on childcare development.
  • A passion and enthusiasm for childcare.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
  • Good timekeeping, organisation and reliability.
