Description
We're looking for a Sub Agent with civils experience to join our Highways Major Projects team on our A417 project based in Gloucester.
You will be responsible for supporting the Agent to specify, schedule and manage the engineering resources (people, and physical assets) in order to ensure the technical compliance of the assigned scheme to the design specification and to implement the plan safely on time and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction and gross profit.

Location:
Gloucester, Gloucestershire - expected to work from the A417 site 5 days a week
Contract:
Permanent, Fulltime 45 hours per week
Salary:
up to £45k
Responsibilities
As a Sub Agent you'll manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.
Your day to day will include:
- support the Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project
- Hold a responsibility for the implementation and maintaining of safe systems of work in accordance with Kier Highways SHEA Policy and procedures, all legal requirements and best practice within Kier Highways major projects.
Who are we looking for?
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if have:
- relevant qualifications
- HNC, degree level, or equivalent experience
- knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably in the Highways Sector.
