Job title - Bricklayer

Hours - Full time, Monday-Friday (half day Friday)

Location - Newtownabbey area

We are seeking a skilled and experienced bricklayer to join our team of builders to work on a residential housing development in the Newtownabbey area.

As a bricklayer, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures using bricks, blocks, and other materials.

Your primary duties will include:

General bricklaying duties.
Laying bricks or blocks in rows, patterns, or designs, ensuring structural integrity and alignment.
Cutting or shaping bricks, blocks, or stones using hand or power tools as necessary.
Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
Adhering to building codes, regulations, and safety standards at all times.
Collaborating with other team members, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, to complete projects efficiently.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bricklayer, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques, tools, and materials.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
Certification or accreditation in bricklaying or relevant field is preferred.

Salary:
£120.00-£150.00 per day
