About Our Client

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our client school as their Second in Charge.

In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the Mathematics department, ensuring continued academic success and fostering a love of learning amongst all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strong pedagogical leadership within the Mathematics department, supporting and guiding colleagues in delivering highquality lessons.
Contribute to the development and implementation of a stimulating and challenging Mathematics curriculum across all Key Stages.
Lead on departmental initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Monitor and evaluate student progress in Mathematics, providing datadriven insights to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
Lead, mentor, and coach colleagues within the department, promoting professional development opportunities.
Uphold the school's ethos and values, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
A highly qualified Mathematics teacher with a proven track record of success.
A minimum of 5 years' experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide colleagues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
A passion for Mathematics and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of curriculum developments.
