This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced Mathematics teacher to join our client school as their Second in Charge.

In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the Mathematics department, ensuring continued academic success and fostering a love of learning amongst all students.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide strong pedagogical leadership within the Mathematics department, supporting and guiding colleagues in delivering highquality lessons.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a stimulating and challenging Mathematics curriculum across all Key Stages.
  • Lead on departmental initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress in Mathematics, providing datadriven insights to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach colleagues within the department, promoting professional development opportunities.
  • Uphold the school's ethos and values, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • A highly qualified Mathematics teacher with a proven track record of success.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • A passion for Mathematics and the ability to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of curriculum developments.
