Are you looking for an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and challenge? Do you want to play a part in facilitating Heysham 1's Regulatory and Site Licence requirements?
We're looking for a permanent Document Centre Team Leader to join the Team at Heysham 1.
You'll promote the provision of a controlled document and archive management service to the Business which will include; maintaining Business documentation both hard and electronic copies, in accordance with company procedures and for the quality control and assurance of documents and records as defined by more procedures.
You'll also manage the process distribution of internal correspondence and ensure business relationships are maintained and developed with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll be doing
As the Document Centre Team Leader your duties will include:
- Lead the Document and Records Management team in managing the day-to-day work to ensure document and records procedures are implemented and complied with whilst maintaining customer focus.
- Processing documents through from indexing, formatting, reviewing, approving, issuing, distributing and archiving using the company electronic system e.g. Configured Document Management System (CDMS) and the Asset Management System (AMS).
- Providing quality assurance in compliance with document and records procedures to ensure the documents and records are managed to satisfy site licence requirements, statutory regulations, company and local directives, procedures and safety rules.
- Protect master documents to ensure they are safely secured and easily retrievable in accordance with company requirements.
- Provide inhours support to maintain documentation required to ensure that current documents are available when required.
- Deliver Document Management and Records Training as part of the company's foundation course and for other ad hoc requests.
- Ensure that team resources, processes and activities are continuously reviewed and optimised to meet business objectives.
Who you are
The successful Document Centre Team Leader will have experience of Nuclear or a similar highly-regulated industry whereby working in a demanding and time critical environment where change is a regular occurrence.
City & Guilds in Business Administration and have working knowledge of national standards applicable to the management of documents and records.
Previous experience of working with information and records management principles and information systems, hierarchies and archives is desirable however we will provide training on CDMS/AMS.
