We are looking for a Upholsterer to join our team Our company is looking for an individual who can focus on the details and get things done.

In this job you will be working with fabrics and other materials to create a comfortable environment for both residential and commercial clients.

We are looking for someone who is efficient, reliable, hard working and enjoys repairing furniture.

Breakdown of the Upholsterer Role:

Duties for the Upholsterer Role:

Using power and hand tools to build the entire pieces (sofas, armchairs) from start to finish.
Attach finishes, including buttons, trim, and other decorative accessories, to complete orders according to specifications.
Measure and cut fabric or leather pieces with the aid of patterns, stencils, and industrial cutting tools to precise sizes and dimensions.
Must be able to cut, stitch and upholster in the following categories: sofas, chairs, armchairs, headboards, bed bases
A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work with the ability to produce good quality work
Fully skilled and experienced in all aspects of upholstery, including deep buttoning and fixed seating
Ability to use own initiative, work fast and under pressure to meet production demands
Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads, team player
Manual handling knowledge and physically fit to lift heavy loads.
