We are currently recruiting for Team Leader (Cell Leader) to work within our Operations Team. The Cell Leader role will help deliver on the growth focused strategy for the Qualitrol organisation.

DESCRIPTION:

The Team Leader (Cell Leader), is an integral position within the production system and under moderate supervision, in addition to the responsibilities of the assembler, is responsible for scheduling production, ensuring all sub-assembly cells run in parallel, problem solving and providing performance feedback to the Value Stream Leader.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specific duties will include, but are not be limited to:
Maintaining I.P/Grid Monitoring products schedule (daily, weekly & monthly)
Driving continuous improvement (Safety, Delivery, Quality, Cost, 5S and productivity)
Implementing standard work and maintaining it to the highest standard
Working cross functionally with other departments
Supporting operators and working on the line when required
Driving Gemba (go see) daily management practice
Utilizing oracle to support cell operational requirement (Grid travelers, material status)
Planning and working to meet customer delivery dates
Organizing ongoing continuous improvement projects

1 Years' experience of leading a team of 5-10 employees
Good knowledge of mechanical assembly Products systems or similar products
Ability to read electrical drawings
Good computer skills
Working with manual and electrical tools
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent planning and organizational skills
