Our team is expanding, and we are in search of a skilled Maintenance Assistant who has a strong background in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and door installations to maintain our high standards of operational excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across various trades such as plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and door installations.
• Perform routine inspections of construction sites and facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement effective preventative maintenance programs.
• Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests to minimise downtime and ensure safety on all sites.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with the latest health and safety regulations.
• Provide support in setting up construction sites, including installations and fittings as required by projects.
• Work closely with the rest of the construction team to ensure equipment and site issues are resolved quickly, keeping projects on schedule.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance, specifically with skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and hanging doors.
• Technical qualification or certifications in plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry is highly desirable.
• Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, lift heavy items, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when necessary, including weekends.
• A commitment to safety and knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various sites across London.

Salary:
£18,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
