Career Teachers are currently recruiting QTS / QTLS English Teachers for January 2023.


We are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated Teachers of English who are ideally looking for long-term or permanent roles starting January 2023 to meet the high demand for our schools.

We work with a wide variety of Secondary Schools in and aroundNottingham and Nottinghamshire.


You will need to be resourceful and innovative in your teaching approach and be able to teach all aspects of Math's at key stage 3 to 4.

The additional experience of teaching at KS5 would be advantageous but not essential.


To be successful for this role, you must:

  • Have recent experience teaching English within a school setting on either a permanent or temporary basis
  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS / QTLS)
  • Eligibility to work within the UK
  • Hold an enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one
  • Have uptodate safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer a FREE online Safeguarding training course
  • Able to provide a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years of employment history
  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and 4. The additional experience of teaching at KS5 would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A positive mindset with a passion for teaching and learning
  • Able to establish constructive and positive relationships with your pupils
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management
  • Committed to raising attainment
