The Opportunity

Due to the winning of a number of high profile commercial office projects they are now seeking a Project Manager to join their existing Project Management team in London.

We are looking for a Project Manager with commercial consultancy experience to join a client focused team within the London office to help develop and drive their Commercial and Fit Out capability and reputation in the market, working on high profile projectsthroughout London and the Southeast.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join and strengthen their team, working on a range of projects including New Build, Cut & Carve, Refurbishment and Fit Out projects.

This role presents anexcellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all services relating to project management.

Key responsibilities;

  • To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
  • To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Comply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategies
  • Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
  • Management and preparation of key stage reports from feasibility through to completion and posthandover
  • Preparation of various programmes
  • Management of meetings, taking and preparation of minutes
  • Preparation of progress reports and presentations at monthly client meetings
  • Assisting in the running of a competitive tender process including managing queries from tendering contractors
  • Assistance with the preparation of contract documents
  • Management of multidisciplinary project teams
  • Working knowledge of building contracts
  • Experience of administering building contracts
  • Regular reporting to clients and internal client teams
  • To support development of targeted marketing material, bid documents, capability statements and attend networking events
  • To support in the development of fee proposals and responses to RFPs
  • To participate in Business Development activities where required
  • Construction related degree or a similar construction related qualification with technical delivery experience in a similar role gained within a consultancy or end user client
  • 2+ years experience in delivering Commercial projects, including project(s) as the lead Project Manager either as a consultant or client side Project Manager
  • Experience managing projects across the design, tender and construction stages
  • Ability to identify potential opportunities to secure more business (and notify Associate/Partner)
  • Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, welldisciplined and commercially astute
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
  • Can quickly acclimatise to a new projects and take ownership to drive the project forward with the support of senior management
  • Excellent customer service, communication and client/external interface skills
  • A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines
  • A team player with a 'can do' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable and flexible
  • Experience of Commercial construction projects as a consultant Project Manager to time, cost and quality
