The school:
This is a year 6 teaching opportunity based in a school we work with in the BD5. This school has very high expectations of all children in their learning, presentation, behaviour, attitude, politeness, and manners.

They primarily focus on creating the conditionsfor learning to take place, for their children to grow in confidence and to develop respect and tolerance of others and their opinions; where mistakes are used as a learning experience and where injustice and adversity are challenged.


The role:
In this role you will be responsible for preparing, planning, and organising lesson resources and effectively teaching designated pupils. You will be responsible for undertaking both behavioural and emotional support. As well as these responsibilities youwill have to ensure that all general teaching duties are completed. In addition to this, the school have personally asked for a strongly experienced teacher for this role.


The pay:
The rate will be between £145 and £195 per day depending on your levels of experience.

The successful year 6 Teacher will:

  • Have previous KS2 teaching experience.
  • Be an enthusiastic and motivated professional.
  • Be fully qualified; have a UK QTS.
  • Be an ambitious individual who aspires to lead.
  • Be confident in classroom and behaviour management.
  • Establish warm, supportive relationships with all pupils whilst also creating a welcoming, safe environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
