DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Drivers Mate to play a vital role in our daily distribution requirements.

To succeed in this role, you should be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures, with a committed attitude to Continuous Improvement, ultimately ensuring that all order deliveries are handled safely and in a timely manner.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices plus a high level of customer service, you will

Trade team, Gloucester
Monday
Friday (day shifts)
Working as part of a two man crew
Undertaking the manual handling, distribution and coordination of timely deliveries to a strict schedule and deadline
Delivering alcohol to a variety of pubs, clubs, bars and resturants

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Previous experience as a Drivers mate, within a logistics or simular environment
Good customer service skills
Comfortable with a high level of manual handling
Comfortable working around alcohol

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or Logistics will be well received.
