Group Head of Procurement (Telco)

Location - London

£85,000/£100,000 circa + bonus + bens

Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering a highly successful Telco organisation with the key appointment of a Group Head of Procurement.

Playing a pivotal role within the SMT the Group Head of Procurement will comprise all procurement activities including coordination with franchisor, local procurement, distribution management and demand & supply planning.

Key duties will involve

Analysis of material costs and development of appropriate strategies in support of the operation
Maintain professional relationships and effective communications for the Group.
Focus on driving quality, service delivery and competitive price from the supply market
Produce analysis and recommendations that better meet the needs of the operations whilst sustaining the supplier reduction process
Assist in the definition, development and implementation of purchasing category best practices
Continuously review the operational procedures, recommend improvement plan and streamlining the operation
Conduct tender analysis of suppliers, product quality and purchase contracts

You will have a proven strategic procurement background (ideally CIPS qualified) within Telco, with extensive experience dealing with complexed multi billion pound enterprise contracts.

A strategic and continuous improvement outlook/mind-set is a must inthis role
