Overview:
We are seeking a teaching assistant to join our happy, friendly team to start as soon as possible.
The post involves working to support individual pupils and groups of pupils.
A strong background in maths and English is ideal for this role and previous experience of working with children in a primary setting would be an advantage but not essential.
This is a fixed term post commencing in March 2024 and ending on 31st August 2024; however the contract willbe reviewed in April 2024.

About the role:
You will provide support to either a small group of pupils or 1:1 under the direction of the class teacher, mainly within the classroom.
You will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of pupils enabling them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
This role may include regular intimate care - 'intimate care' means doing tasks involving close personal contact that someone can't do independently.
In addition, there will be a daily 1⁄2 hour lunch duty and some mid-morning break duties.
