Description

The Wenvoe Arms is a busy village pub with an enviable reputation of excellent, freshly prepared, seasonal food sourced from local suppliers and growers.

We also operate 'Garden Kitchens' which offer woodfired Pizzas and fresh Seafood for takeaway or dine in.

We are looking for a competent, experienced kitchen assistant who works well within a team and is able to work on their own initiative.

The position is permanent part time or full time. Part time will be hours per week or full time 30+ hours.

The job will be to help the chefs in the day to day running of a busy pub restaurant and to provide holiday cover when necessary.

You will be expected to work week days, weekends and Bank Holidays. There will be a mix of straight and split shifts including day and evening shifts.

Our kitchens provide lunchtime and evening service. Last orders at 9.00pm.

There is NO food service:
Christmas Eve night, Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New years Eve night. Sunday catering finishes at 4.00pm. (What's not to like??)
