Business Development Manager (home based) up to £50k plus performance based bonus and car allowance
My client is a leading, national specialist working at height sub-contractor, operating within multiple sectors including facility/property management as well as working directly with end users.
The business specialises in permanent roof access and fallprotection equipment, working on Tier 1 projects with an impressive portfolio of clients and contracts.

THE JOB
The successful Business Development Manager will work as part of the
Testing & Inspectionsales team, driving new sales to grow the customer base.
- Developing and growing customer relationships, and Account Management
- Following up on marketing campaign leads and maximising their potential, resulting in winning new clients and new contracts
- Cold calling and self generating new business
- Attending site visits and sales meetings
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This role comes with a fantastic basic salary and a very realistic OTE of up to £60k, plus car allowance

- Remote role, unless located within travelling distance of the Neston office
- Travel to meet customers (12 days per week maximum)

ABOUT YOU
You are a true hunter, with a proven track record of successful sales within the construction industry and/or facilities/property management companies and end users.
- Experience speaking directly with a variety of stakeholders including multi national clients, main contractors, and facilities/property management professionals
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Good, confident telephone manner with experience of selling over the phone
- Strong rapport building skills and a friendly, outgoing, and confident personality
- Knowledge of working at height/lightening protection/fall access would be highly advantageous, as would experience within testing, inspection and compliance
