Achieving Aspirations as a company provides Residential short breaks & progressive day service for young adults with learning disabilities.


This Job includes:


  • To develop and empower our young people from years into becoming responsible, mature and aspirational young adults to live the best lives they can.
  • Planning and implementing a range of Inclusive activities for individuals and group work improve independence, communication and social skills
  • Support the Young people to work towards their personcentred targets and AQA Awards/Qualifications
  • Arrange activities and visits in the local community
  • Inspire and motivate our young people and help them to promote positive behaviour
  • Respect dignity when provide personal care to young people as required.
  • To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of young people in line with our policies and procedures

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Empathy and emotional intelligence.
  • The ability to think on your feet and be flexible.
  • The ability to support people from a range of backgrounds.
  • Organisational skills.
Drivers license desirable but not essential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

We are looking for Part time and full time staff - 2 to 5 days a week.

Salary:
£10.49-£13.00 per hour
