Regardless of experience, we are seeking Teaching assistants, Learning Support assistants and cover supervisors to be based in schools across Newcastle and North Tyneside


Protocol Education is looking for individuals who wish to begin their careers in education and are passionate about educational development.

We have a variety of roles available, to suit everyone's skill set and level of experience.

We accept those who are joining us stright from education and those with transferable skills gained from employment and volunteering.

We recruit people who have had both personal and professional experience support children or vulnerable people. We also find those who have graduated have the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful within a school.


Teaching assistants are typically based in the classroom and are there to engage in activities along with supporting both the students and the teacher with the production of the lesson.

Learning support assistants are based in small groups or perform 1:1 support for individuals with SEN or SEMH disorders. This is a very rewarding role and works best for indivudals with full-time availability due to students requiring consistency.

Cover supervisors are typically in different schools daily to oversea the classroom during the absence of a teacher. This is very flexible work and can be done alongside studies or other part-time work. This role is a great way to network with a variety of schools.


Requirements:


  • The right to work in the UK
  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Is an approachable and friendly person
  • Is confident and comfortable in a classroom setting.
- reliable individuals, who will be committed to their role.

  • Has positive verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferably personal or professional experience interacting with SEN or vulnerable individuals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
