Gardener required to join our team working in and around the Stockport area._

The successful applicant will be required to assist in the day-to-day maintenance of various gardens and grounds for both our residential and commercial customers.

Job requires both team and independent work as necessary.

We are based at a commercial unit in Bramhall, Stockport meaning travel would be required to this place of work.

From there we head out to various sites in and around the Stockport area.

The position would be full time at 40 hours per week with overtime available in busy periods with one Saturday every 4 weeks in the main season (April-October) and sometimes working slightly later when required in the week.

Please note due to the nature of the work some seasonal change in hours may be required. _

2 years gardening experience is required although some training can be provided where necessary.

• Successful applicant must work well with other people and have a good rapport with customers and staff alike, as well as being physically fit and comfortable working in all weathers._

**Required experience and skills:
- *

• Full clean UK Driving Licence
• Minimum 2 years gardening experience in similar role
• Knowledge of plants and how to care for them appropriately
• Experience with use and maintenance of garden machinery
• Physically fit and able to work at heights
• Ability to follow any health and safety guidance
• Ability to follow instructions, ensuring our high standards are maintained whilst also being able to use initiative when required
• Punctuality and reliability, we are a small team that work to a schedule where individual customer timings and requirements must be met efficiently
• Good communication skills when working with both colleagues and customers

• PA1/PA
• Pesticide Application Certificate
• Horticultural qualification would be advantageous
• Experience using petrolpowered pressure washer
• Experience using polereach gutter vacuum

Position available to start in Late February/Early March based on a successful, paid trial period.
