Description
Are you an experienced and knowledgeable specialist in the design, delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of management systems? Do you have a passion for safety governance and ensuring that a company's management system meets all stakeholder needs? If yes, then we have the perfect job for you


As the Head of Integrated Management Systems, you will be responsible for leading the IMS team in delivering an effective and efficient management system that supports a high-performance organisation.

You will work collaboratively with operations and the wider organisation to ensure the design, delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of the IMS, making sure that easyJet has an integrated approach.


We are looking for a champion for competency & training, effective use of data, risk management evolution and robust safety governance.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the IMS meets all applicable regulatory requirements and for monitoring and reporting on its development and performance.


In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring that the IMS supports the delivery of 'our strategy' and the 'always with safety at our heart' promise.

You will champion the IMS, providing advice on implementation to GOS and AOC colleagues, and manage the IMS Knowledge Hub and associated content.

You will develop and maintain the IMS support systems that enable the delivery of safety, security, and compliance activity across easyJet, including supplier management.


Requirements of the Role

What you need to do this role


To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth understanding of management systems and demonstrable knowledge of Aviation, H&S, EMS, and Security management system regulation.

You should be a broad and pragmatic thinker, capable of quickly interpreting information and presenting contentions in a clear and reasoned way.


You should have a record of successfully developing and implementing strategy and driving new initiatives, with a solid understanding of the industry context, trends, and operator drivers.

You should also have strong leadership and people skills with the ability to identify, build, and manage relationships across a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.

Excellent communication skills are necessary, as is the ability to advise the board at a strategic level.

Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time 40 hour per week position. Hybrid working is available with a minimum requirement of 2 days at Luton Airport.
