Test Lead (Tills / POS) / £425pd (Umbrella) / 6 Months / Swindon


A test Lead is required to work for my client with a household name on an initial 6 month contract.

The Test Lead will be working across their new Tills project, and so Previous experience working on tills and point-of-sale products and systems is essentialfor this role.


You will be responsible for defining and setting the testing approach for assigned projects and providing leadership and direction to the Test Analysts assigned to those projects.

Agreeing resourcing models and estimates with the Principal Tester. Advisingon (and if possible implementing) technical test automation approaches, as relevant for the project.


Key Responsibilities / Essential Skills:


  • Reviewing project scope, assessing and agreeing suitable test coverage and execution.
  • Monitoring status and resolving issues to ensure testing elements of project delivery are completed in a timely and effective fashion, to my clients standards
  • Experience in defining and directing implementation of test automation frameworks.

Desirable Skills:


Current hands-on test automation skills such that they can implement a proof of concept, and/or code review a test automation framework created by a third-party.
