Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons tailored to the individual needs of our autistic pupils.
Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Plans for each pupil, in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team and parents/carers.
Assess, monitor and track the progress of each pupil, and provide regular feedback to parents/carers.
Work collaboratively with our team of specialist Teaching Assistants to ensure that the learning environment is safe, stimulating and inclusive.
Attend regular meetings with the Senior Leadership Team, parents/carers and other professionals, to review progress and ensure that the needs of our pupils are being met effectively.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a Primary setting.
A proven track record of working with autistic pupils with complex needs, specifically in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Knowledge and understanding of strategies and approaches for supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Ability to create and implement effective IEPs and Behaviour Plans for each pupil.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
