Foster Carer Recruitment Co Ordinator

Job Title - as above

Pay:

- £35,000 FTE salary (pro rata £21,285) plus pro rata car allowance

Hours - 22.5 Hours per Week

Contract - Permanent

Location - Hybrid home/ working with travel required in Scotland.

Care Visions Fostering was established in 2005 and has grown to become one of the largest independent not-for-profit fostering agencies in Scotland.

We support circa 90 foster carers and 140 young people across Scotland and pride ourselves on providing a high-quality service.

Care Visions is keen to continue to recruit foster carers across communities in Scotland to ensure that children are placed with families who can meet their needs and promote positive outcomes.

We are therefore looking for an experienced social worker
- to support our recruitment activities.

Core Tasks

To respond to enquiries from potential foster carers and set up first contacts.
Undertake Home Visits to make an initial assessment of capacity to become a foster carer.
Ensure Application Forms are sent timeously.
Organise Skills to Foster dates.
Participate in recruitment activities to promote Care Visions Fostering including Webinars.

Main Requirements:

Relevant Social Work qualification.
Minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working in childcare or fostering.
Knowledge of fostering regulations.
Scottish Social Services Council Registration.
Membership with the PVG Scheme
Full driving licence
Availability to travel and work flexible hours
