Overview

Our client is a successful mid-sized accountancy practice, based in the North West.

Due to their current growth plans, they are looking for a full-time Senior Accountant to support their senior team with accounting duties and wider client services.

About the role

This role would suit a knowledgeable and professional individual, looking to take a more senior role in their career.

Reporting to the Senior Managers, the Senior Accountantwill take the lead on client services surrounding accounting and tax work,as wellas online accounting opportunities.

Key aspects of the role include:

Preparing year-end financial statements for a wide range of clients;
Calculating corporation tax and personal tax liabilities;
Delivering further tax planning ideas for clients;
Building strong relationships with clients and liaising with them on a daily basis;
Supporting select clients with technological advances, and advising on streamlining accounting processes by utilising technology.

The ideal person

Theposition would suit an excellent communicator with strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.

They will have a proactive attitude, be motivated and able to work well within a team.
