Here at Sciensus a new opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator.


Essentially, you will ensure payroll and expenses are paid in a timely manner in accordance with statutory requirements and company procedures.


You will have experience of undertaking duties associated with the coordination and processing of payroll and expenses within set deadlines and able to provide a prompt and accurate response to employees in regard to queries relating to pay, tax and expenses, and to resolve these within agreed deadlines.


We would expect you to compile accurate reporting information for relevant internal and external sources and be comfortable processing all statutory payments for eligible employees.

This all sounds great - What key skills do I need to apply:

  • GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • Previous payroll experience of 2 years
  • Experience of working with I.T. systems and using Word & Excel.
  • Relevant payroll qualification advantageous
  • Customer service skills e.g. dealing sensitively with payroll queries; communicating information sensitively.
  • Pays attention to detail and adheres to rules & regulations; strong quality orientation. Comfortable working with numerical data and spotting errors in data.
  • Works in an organised manner; displays effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Conscientious and acts as a completerfinisher.
