Our client require a management accountant to be responsible for internal accounting controls

This role will offer hybrid working but you will need to be within commuting distance of Aylesbury

Preparation of all financial accounting processes and production of management accounting information for the Group

Provide expert support to all areas of the business in all aspects of financial decision making

Pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of service levels and business performance

You will have responsibility for the following:

Management Accounts

Ensure group monthly management accounts are prepared in accordance with deadlines

Prepare annual accounts and reconciliations for external auditors

Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations for all the companies within the group and fully understanding the financial position.

Responsibility for reviewing, understanding and reporting on any variances to forecast

Financial Modelling

Preparation of financial reports and models to assist in the evaluation of business initiatives, sales opportunities, investments and new projects.

Forecasting

Production of group forecast. Responsibilities include liaising with all senior management/cost centre managers, distribution of monthly forecast reporting pack (with commentary) to senior management and ensuring the tight deadlines are consistentlymet.
