Job Purpose
To provide an effective and smooth-running sales ledger function within the company.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Raising of the Company's sales invoices and credit notes.
  • Ensuring that invoices are accurate with regards to date, quantity, value, details, currency, analysis and VAT treatment.
  • Ensuring the invoices conform to customers specific requirements.
  • Ensure cash is collected in a timely manner.
  • Administering of the Invoice Discounting facility.
  • Maintaining an uptodate knowledge of VAT legislation relevant to the sales ledger function, particularly with regard to the Company's activities (eg Printed Matter, Postage, Exports, etc.).
  • Assisting with adhoc queries from the Company's customers, as required by the Financial Controller/Finance Director.
  • Credit card reconciliations.
  • Process improvement.
Experience of Sage200 or Tharstens would be beneficial.
