We are looking for a Midday Supervisor.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Wood Field Primary School and become an integral part of the Midday team.

Our school is looking for a passionate, caring and patient indivdual to join our school community where, together, we will ensure that our vision of increasing the life chances for our students continues.

We are looking for an indivdual who will play a key role in supevising our pupils during the lunchtimes, being proactive with developing their social skills and encouraging purposeful play.

Main responsibilites:

General supervisor of the children during the lunch period in the playground and in the dining hall.
Encouragement of purposeful play.
Managing behaviour in line with the schools policies and procedures.
Ensuring good order in the dining hall.
Dealing with minor first aid problems.
Adhere to all school policy and their overall ethos.
Working in close cooperation with all colleagues.

You will need:

Experience with working with chidlren at primary school age.
Exellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of people sensitvely and empathetically.
Good organisational skills and have the ability to supervise.
Selfmotivated.
Adapt to change.
Contribute to further ideas to develop the play opportunities for children at lunch.
