To provide support for net zero and energy management projects to enable clients to achieve their net zero targets.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Undertake energy and carbon audits and options appraisals.
  • Conduct sites visits to identify energy efficiency and low carbon projects to support net zero.
  • Support heat decarbonisation appraisals and development of heat decarbonisation plans.
  • Identify energy demand reduction and load shifting opportunities within clients.
  • Support development of net zero roadmaps for clients.
  • Provide technical support to other MACE teams and projects.
  • Keep up to date with low carbon technology innovations.
  • Support the design and implementation of toolkits and processes to ensure a continual improvement of service.
  • Be aware and familiar with building services and interventions that can support net zero delivery.
  • Keep up to date with innovation in low carbon technologies and legislation impacting on net zero delivery.
  • Support the upskilling and development of incoming graduates.
  • Be comfortable with client management and discussing often complex project with nonexperts.
  • Support team projects across RB across a wide range of sectors.

You'll need to have:

  • Excellent IT skills covering Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Excellent presentation and client management skills
  • Knowledge and use of document control systems (optional).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisation and communication skills.
  • Good timekeeping.

You'll also have:

  • Membership to an accredited body for energy managers.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Results and quality focussed individual.
We are also open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.
