Data and Insights Officer - Equality and Inclusion Unit and Research Culture:

Salary:
Grade 7 (£37,099 - £44,263 p.a. depending on experience)


This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.

We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.


Working across two related teams:

the Equality and Inclusion Unit (EIU)
and Research Culture team
, you will help transform the way we collate, analyse, and engage with equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and other data at the University.

You will have responsibility for sourcing and formatting datasets and using the data to create a variety of analyses and reports based on stakeholder needs


You will:

  • Work with the EDI Data and Insight Manager to develop and implement the EIU data workstream;
  • Work with the Research Culture team to develop and implement projects within the institutional Research Culture Strategy;
  • You will have experience working with large datasets and be able to create engaging and insightful reports and analyses;
  • You will have a good understanding of the sensitivities around EDI data/other data relating to people and be detailoriented.
