Team Leader

Charlton House is a 44-bed home, providing quality, diverse care to our residents. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable, and well organised Team Leader to join team.


You will be required to assist with the line management of a team of staff and have knowledge, understanding and experience of relevant legislation ensuring we comply with the requirements of CQC and other statutory regulators with the help from the Care Coordinator and Registered Manager.

As a Team Leader, you will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all the people we support and manage the service to the highest standards, ensuring the people who use our services can be supported to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals.


The working hours:
Shift pattern.

Some of the key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Team leading the staff and managing the daily running of the care provision, with the help of the Care Coordinator and Registered Manager.
  • Managing in the absence of the Care Coordinator/Registered Manager.
  • Play your part to the development and expansion of the business.
  • Medication Administration.
  • Carrying out regular audits (e.g., medication audits).
  • Liaising with visitors and professionals.
  • Documenting daily notes, care plans, risk assessment etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE


Applicants must have:

  • Experience of supervising and leading a team, including e.g., delegating work and monitoring performance.
  • Experience of working in a similar environment.
  • Experience of working with service users who have physical disabilities, dementia, other mental health issues.
  • Diploma I health and Social Care Level 3, ideally.

Salary:
£11.70 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Overtime

  • Full PPE provided.
  • Regular testing in line with requirements.
  • Vaccinated in line with requirements.

Experience:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)

- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driving License (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
