Quality Manager

Homebased Position with occasinal visitis to Office, locations in Bristol/London/Stevenage
An exciting position has opened up for our internal Quality Management team.

The Position:


Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the relevant company and international standards and Customer Quality related approvals
  • Maintenance / Improvement of Company KPI's for Quality such as On Time Delivery, On Quality Delivery, Cost of Poor Quality, Customer Satisfaction
  • Maintenance of the company's Internal Audit program
  • Business Improvements across other areas of the business

Required Experience

  • Qualified to Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Management.
  • An indepth knowledge of AS9100
  • Ability to take the lead and to take a proactive approach to drive business results
  • Good knowledge of Aerospace systems and experience of working with Aerospace OEMs
  • Excellent knowledge of Quality Tools (Problem Solving, Risk Assessment & Management, Quality Plans etc.)

Desirable experience

  • Knowledge of other industry standards (eg. IATF16949, ISO 14001, ISO27001)
  • A qualified Lead Auditor for AS9100
- "Excellent" skill level in the use of MS Office tools (particularly VBA, Power Query, Power Automate)

  • Knowledge of APQP
  • Familiar with EASA requirements within a DOA environment
