About us
Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Skills and Employability Trainer to join our People, Skills & Employability team in London.
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.
We are looking for someone who has energy, focus and attention to detail, experience of delivering Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2, Employability and ideally have sector specific qualifications in Health and Social Care which can be utilised within our programmes.
What you'll be doing
- Proactively recruit, assess and retain an agreed number of learners in line with contracts/annual objectives.
- Organise and deliver Functional Skills, employability and vocational skills, for young people through a blended learning approach including the use of digital based delivery models in group sessions.
- Carry out initial assessments and learning plans for each young person and monitor their progress through regular reviews
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of resources and processes
