RVG Finance team are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days a week).


As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing customer receipts, accurately allocating funds, and maintaining precise records of financial transactions.

You will be well positioned to develop a comprehensive understanding of the company's product line, services, and their corresponding income categories.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Ensuring accurate and timely accounting of our cash and income received on our property sales and rents, working closely with both finance and operational team members.
  • Allocation of

Customer Receipts:
Efficiently match and allocate incoming customer receipts to the appropriate funds within established timelines. Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of transactions.

  • Posting Batches to

Customer Accounts:
Post batches to customer accounts with precision, incorporating charges, credits, and adjustments, as necessary. Maintain meticulous records of all postings and transactions.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and uptodate records of customer accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurately documented and readily accessible for audits and reviews.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the finance team to reconcile discrepancies, resolve queries, and ensure smooth financial operations. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Direct Debit Collections: Support in administering our direct debit collections and resolving any issues.
  • Other administrative tasks supporting the finance team covering maintenance of leases with our residents and collecting debts
  • Proven experience in a similar finance or role, demonstrating proficiency in allocating funds and managing customer accounts (preferably in property industry).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (MRI PMX experience would be advantageous or other equivalent best practice property accounting software)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Demonstratable experience in a similar role
