We are a 18 bedded Residential Care home for the elderly. The shifts are 8pm start and 8am finish. These are wake nights

During the night duty you will be assisting residents to have supper if they wish and to have a wash and get into bed.

Throughout the night there will be checks on residents, answering the call bells and assisting residents with their needs. Throughout the night there will be laundry and some cleaning to do. In the mornings to assist residents if they wish to get up and have breakfast. There are documentation to complete such as handover, night notes and care plans were needed
