Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Home Baker/Catering Assistant to join our team.

If you enjoy baking as a hobby or have experience in baking for family or friends, this may be the role for you.

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our catering operations by assisting with food production, preparation, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with culinary experience who are looking to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist with food production
Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality and presentation of food items
Assist with baking and cooking as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and catering areas
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients
Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies
Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth operations during events
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients

Requirements:

Previous experience in food production & preparation
Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently

This post is term time - Monday - Thursday from 1.00pm till 4.00pm

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Volunteer

Pay:
£11.44-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week
