Due to continued growth The Triscan Group are hiring a permanent, full time production team leader.

This is a hands on role is within our production department where you will help plan, organise, build and test our fuel management systems.

Working within a small team covering a variety of task providing a whole range of products makes for a varied and interesting work schedule whilst keeping pace with increasing customer demands.

Responsibilities and duties

• Assist the Production Manager with departments work planning to meet installation schedules, direct customer orders and internal demands for service exchange product.
• Manage the kitting of products and updating stock systems, communicating with Procurement to enable replenishment.
• Follow product work instructions so you can build and assemble quality product.
• Self-Inspection and testing of products including operation of test equipment.
• Packing and dispatching goods to customers and our remote engineers.
• Maintain customer and product records

Person Specification
Essential

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work as part of a small team.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and methodical.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• General IT competence using PC software packages.

Desirable

• Experience of electro/mechanical assembly.
• Experience using resource planning and customer record systems.
• Ability to read engineering/schematic diagrams

Other details

• Full time permanent position
• Competitive wage based on experience
• 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
• 37.5 hour week Mon-Thu 8.30am to 4.45pm, Fri 08.30 to 3.30pm, no weekends or shifts
