The role
As a Receptionist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will provide the FM team with reception and administrative support.


Day to day, you'll greet external visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person in an efficient manner.


  • Welcome Babcock and Cavendish staff into the building and carry out security checks on new starters, staff visiting from other offices.
  • Answer telephones and direct callers to the appropriate person as well as taking messages when appropriate and providing callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
  • Receive, sort and forward incoming mail, general deliveries and collection of IT for staff and new starters. Coordinate the pickup and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
  • Maintain the conference rooms ensuring they reflect the company's professional image and are fully refreshed between meetings to ensure all rooms are tidy and presentable for the next working day.

Essential experience of the Receptionist,

  • A proven track record working on reception or a customer facing role.
This is a full time, onsite role at Wigmore Street.
