Neuadd Drymmau Care Home Ltd is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team

Position Summary:

The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for assisting the Chef with the daily activities in the kitchen. This includes opening and closing the kitchen, prepping food, cleaning, organizing, and maintaining inventory.

The Kitchen Assistant will work to ensure that all dishes are prepared to Neuadd Drymmau Care Home standards and are carried out in a timely manner.

This position will be able to learn and practice all duties under the direction of the Executive Chef.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends/holidays.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to 5 hours, bend, reach, push, pull, walk and squat.
Previous work experience in a kitchen and the ability to learn and practice all duties under the direction of the Chef.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
