Our client operates an international network of facilities serving a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence, automotive, power generation, oil & gas, construction, machine building medical and transportation
Key Responsibilities - Quality Engineer
- Ensuring compliance with all customer and QMS requirements.
- Actively aspiring to promote a culture of quality and exceptional customer service throughout the business.
- Control quarantined and nonconforming goods.
- Liaise with Production Manager to ensure production schedule is met.
- Liaise with customers to ensure requirements are met and they are kept informed of any discrepancies that may affect quality or expediency.
- Monitoring and timely resolution of nonconformities, corrective / preventative actions and error proofing.
- Customer liaison
- Assist with the training of personnel
- Support new part process introduction.
- External document review.
- Perform Contract Review and PAQP according to written procedures Video.
- Maintain process and component data on relevant databases.
- Carry out postHIP inspection to written procedures.
- Work with the site Management team to achieve the business objectives.
- Previous experience of working as Quality Engineer
- Good understanding of AS13100 and AS9100
- Knowledge of quality systems
- Understanding of thermal treatment processes is advantageous
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
