Principle Java Developer (Java/Spring) - Remote - Company Equity + Bonus
####This position will come with equity in the business########

Our UK-based client is currently looking for a Principle Java Developer with Java/Spring experience. The client is based in London, but opening a new tech hub based in Manchester. The position can be fully remote.


Our client is currently working with some of the largest UK enterprises to pioneer a new way to enhance security and improve investment decisions.


You will be the go-to person for all the backend services, critical in helping shape our technology and introducing new ideas and principles to help them grow and succeed.

Skills and Experience for the position of Principle Backend Developer:

  • Experienced in building and leading a team of backend developers.
  • Demonstrated ability to create resilient and scalable architectures.
  • Strong understanding of REST principles.
  • Proficiency with JPA, SQL, and distributed caching / messaging.
  • Deep experience with Spring Security, OAUTH2, and OpenID Connect.
  • Good knowledge of OWASP Secure coding practices.
  • Experienced in E2E testing.
