Packaging Source is a packaging products supplier, focusing on providing bespoke packaging solutions to multiple industries.

We are looking for a Multi Drop Delivery Driver who can help both Packaging Source team and customers.


Responsibilities

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
  • Planning the shortest and best routes to clients by taking factors like roadblocks and traffic into consideration.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
  • Provides assistance throughout the warehouse upon request from manager.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
  • Doing regular maintenance checks on delivery vehicles and informing management of any issues
  • Unloading packages at the destination and getting clients to sign the necessary paperwork.
  • Updating route, milage and delivery log.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years (preferred) experience as company delivery driver
  • 10 years UK driver's license.
  • Fully Clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of the area to decide which back roads to take when necessary.
  • Luton Van driving experience and local area knowledge is preferred.
  • Good communication skills to follow instructions, work with colleagues and deal with clients.
  • Good eyesight and enough physical stamina and strength to pick up heavy packages plus bending and twisting.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
