GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced

Exams Officer to undertake a position at one of our secondary schools in Camden rated "

Good " by Ofsted.

The role is at a Girls secondary school where employees are valued and developed. The school has a highly professional team of staff who take pride in their work.

The school is looking for someone who will secure the smooth running of internal and external examinations so that students are able to perform to the best of their abilities and to ensure the prompt dissemination of external exam results.

About the role:

Maintain current understanding of the wide variety of issues involved in administering external examinations
To lead and coordinate all internal and external examinations
To deal with examination queries
To organise and take responsibility for all aspects of the exam process for all external exams.
Deal with any exam queries which may arise from staff, students, the exam boards and stakeholders

The successful Exams Officer applicant must have:

Strong knowledge of SIMS including census and timetable (t-sheets).
Previous experience working as an Exams Officer
Ability to be organized, and work to various deadlines
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Proven ability to prioritize conflicting tasks (Good time management).
