Warehouse operative required.

We are looking for an experienced warehouse operative with a good attitude towards work. This is a fast paced Job and is also physically demanding.
As a warehouse operative your main responsibilities within the team will be; but not limited to.

• To unload and load containers by hand or with a counter balance forklift within the time limit set. (to avoid extra charges to the company)
• To pick and pack orders for customers using a pick sheet in a timely manner.
• To check all orders that have been picked and packed before loading and sending to customers.
• To load and unload lorries and vans either by hand or using a counterbalance forklift truck (licence required).
• To adhere to all health and safety rules and requirements, as stated in the risk assessments and safe working procedures.
• To help keep all warehouses and yard areas clean, tidy and free of litter.
• To be able to communicate with your team leader / warehouse manager about any issues that may arise.

Ideal applicants will have:

• At least two years of warehouse operative experience, including picking, packing, loading and unloading containers.
• A good, cando attitude towards work and a strong work ethic.
• A counterbalance forklift licence. (In date, with paper certificate or photo card).
• The ability to work by yourself and as part of a team.
• The ability to use your own initiative.
• Good time keeping required.
• Will be able to work indoors or outside when required.
• Will be flexible within the warehouse operating hours.
• Must be physically fit.

Counterbalance forklift licence required.
Driving licence preferred.

Working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday. flexibility required to stay late or start early.


Job Types:

Pay:
From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
